MEDIEVAL~

Medieval is BY FAR my favorite setting. Most of my cravings will be found in this section.

Here's a little note on this time period; I'll try to keep it brief.

I am by no means a historian, and I do tend to romanticize medieval times a bit. However, I do expect my partners to have some knowledge of the times, namely the lack of technological advancements we enjoy today (no running water, travel via horses, swords and bows for combat, etc.). We can do as much or as little world-building as you'd like, but I will always insist on using made-up countries.

For ease of reading, I'm going to list out a few pairings and such. I have multiple ideas for almost all of these, but I won't be posting them here; feel free to ask if something catches your eye! Basically, we could throw together just about any two characters together in a lovely tale of romance and adventure, and I would be on board. As a warning, though, I have little interest in pirates, assassins, or criminals. I get a lot of people pairings like that, and I honestly have no desire to play or play against those characters. I've done them many times, and it just feels cliche. /says the girl who is obsessed with knights

If it's underlined, I'm most in the mood for it. If it has an asterisk next to it, that means I'm only in the mood for one specific plot for that item. I have plots for everything, so just ask~~~

I don't tend to think of modern role plays in terms of "odd pairings." If I think of any, I'll list them.

I'll let you know if I have any particular craving for these, but for the moment, it will take some convincing to get me to do modern.

  • Childhood friends develop feelings

  • Exes reunite

  • Some kind of fluffy rom-com meet-cute sort of thing? 

OTHER TIME PERIODS~

Once again, if it's not medieval, it's going to require extra persuasion.

Don't come at me if you're wanting this to be super accurate to the exact dates and times of real events because tbh, I don't want to put that much work into it. I mean, I'll try; I won't have my character roll up in a Mercedes during the American revolution. But I'm here to have fun, you know?

  • Early America/American Revolution 

  • Ancient Rome [I used to be OBSESSED with Rome and the movie, Gladiator. It might be fun to throwback to a gladiator role play.]

  • Regency Era [helloooooo Jane Austen][I would super prefer to play a female in this. I have one that I've just been dying to develop. :D There's a small chance I would be willing to play just a male and a somewhat decent chance I would be open to doubling. But only if you promise to devote equal time and attention to both characters. We've been through this; you know how I feel on the subject.]

EXCEPTIONS~

Here you will find a list of exceptions to my general rules of "I don't roleplay this." In cases where fantasy/sci-fi are involved, you'll find that the fantasy and/or sci-fi aspects of this are an anomaly in an otherwise realistic world. That's how I like it.

Also, just because it's on this list doesn't necessarily mean I'm in the mood for it! You might ask for it, and I might be like, "No thanks!" and the world will keep spinning. 

  • Mermaid x Human - we'll have to work out the lore and the "rules" for our mermaids, and I would prefer for this to take place in a historic time period such as medieval or whatever time period The Little Mermaid is set in. x)

  • Time travel - Okay, I'm a HUGE fan of Outlander. So it would be something like that. I'd love for this person to go back in time to medieval Europe, and we can decide what time period he/she is coming from. Perhaps this is a love story between two people in different eras, or perhaps it's a love story between the traveler and the person from the same time period who goes in pursuit of him/her. I'd love for it to be an accidental thing at first, like in Outlander. There's so much to discuss!!!
